The Soapbox is coming, here is everything you need to know!
With only days to go, things are heating up! In this post, we will reveal some more information about our 2019 event and answer your questions about the day.
So first let’s take a look at the event and how you can get entry. Tickets can be purchased by clicking the button below, these tickets give you FREE parking as well as guaranteed access to the event*.

On the day you can be looking forward to many soapboxes taking to the track and racing as well as access to our giant funfair and fully licensed bar.
We are also featuring a live act from Queen tribute band Real Magic, who will take to the stage later on in the day.
So now we know the basics of the day, let’s take a look at the nitty-gritty information.
Parking
Parking on the day is included in your ticket price and is on-site, it is first come first serve so we recommend getting there early. We would also like to discourage parking in nearby streets and to be respectful of nearby residents when choosing your parking location.
There are also use public transport links to the event. The nearest bus stop is “Chester Road-Monument” with the Black Cats 2, Black Cats 2A, Coast and Country 78, Coast and Country 78A and the S451 stopping at the stop.
Tickets
Tickets are required to enter the event, the costs are the following:
Online Pre-Sale
We strongly recommend printing tickets to avoid issues at check-in.

On the gates

Please Note: Card payments may not be available on the day due to issues with phone service required to process cards we recommend bringing cash. Online ticket sales will close Thursday 15th at 11:59 pm.
If you have ordered tickets online and not received them over email, please check your spam/junk folder. If you can’t find them, email us on press@hoteventsolutions.co.uk
Box Office
The box office will be open Friday 1pm-4pm then 5pm-7pm at the gates. Cash will be accepted and cards depending on signal.
Times
The event starts at 10 am and will end at 8 pm. We recommend getting there for 10 am for gates opening to avoid long lines, to avoid larger lines we recommend pre-booking tickets online before attending the event.
Security Information
There will be security checks on the day of the event, this is to ensure a safe event for everyone.
Food and Drink:
Food and Drink will be sold on the event site for a wide variety of diets. Food and alcohol are not permitted to be brought into the event from outside. Unless prior arrangements are made for special dietary needs. If you are unsure about this please contact us on Facebook, Twitter or via email at press@hoteventsolutions.co.uk.
Sealed water up to 500ml per person is allowed to be brought into the site, we recommend this to stay hydrated through the day.
Bag searches will be taking place on the day due to security reasons and bags no bigger than A4 paper is to be allowed on site.
When on-site please keep your bag with you at all time.
Check-In
When entering the event you will either fit into two lines. If you have tickets make your way to the “Ticket Only” zone and wait in line to be scanned in.
If you have not bought your tickets, make your way to the “Booking Offices” and purchase a ticket from there.
These locations will be clearly marked on the day for all visitors. If you have any issues, approach a member of staff for more information.
